We form a part of a new campaign for raising public awareness, “La teva Química”, promoted by the AEQT
The Chemical Business Association of Tarragona (AEQT) has launched “La teva Química”, a campaign with testimonial videos in which workers of the petrochemical sector talk about their experiences and explain what their daily jobs are like.
A total of 16 workers in the sector have participated in the campaign, including Natalia Zarza, the first female Plant Operator of ELIX Polymers, who explains in the video how proud she is and how fortunate she feels to work here, while also telling us about her wonderful experience during the selection process.
The objective of the initiative is to highlight and recognise all the people who form a part of the Tarragona petrochemical sector and who, through their considerable talent, training and dedication, have turned it into an international benchmark and a driving force in the territory.
The campaign also seeks to transparently and directly convey the reality of the sector to society of the surrounding area, through the eyes of the most credible witness: the actual workers in the industry, who go to the facilities every day and have the best understanding of how the work is done, of the measures and protocols that are applied, of the level of company commitment regarding safety and reduced impact, etc.
