We collect personal data from:

1. Employees: the purpose of this data is to manage the employment relationship, generate pay slips, supervise the working day and other related obligations. The data collected are identification details, special categories (health/disability), personal characteristics, academic and professional information, employment details and financial details. The legal basis for data processing is the relationship between the parties, the legal obligation to collect this type of data and the consent of the data subjects. The period of data retention is five years from the end of the employment relationship, except for payslips and the TC1 and TC2 forms, which must be kept for ten years.

2. Job seekers: the purpose of this data is to manage selection processes. The data collected are identification details, personal characteristics, academic and professional information and employment details. The legal basis for data processing is the pre-contractual relationship between the parties and the consent of the data subjects. The retention period for the data is six months from the end of the selection process.

3. Potential customers: the purpose of data processing is the commercial management of potential . The data collected are identification details and commercial information. The legal basis is the performance of a preliminary contract and the controller’s legitimate interest. The data will be kept for a period of five years from the end of contact with the potential customer.

4. Customers: the purpose of the data processing is the performance of a commercial contract or pre-contract and the supply of the services requested. For this purpose, identification, property and financial data are requested. The legal basis for data processing is the controller’s legitimate interest and the performance of a contract. The data will be deleted within five years of the end of the business relationship.

5. Suppliers: the purpose of this data is to manage commercial contracts for which identification details, financial or tax details and other data such as TC2 forms or civil insurance are collected. 7. Video surveillance data: the purpose of the processing is to ensure security on our premises. The legal basis for the processing of these data is the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. This data (footage) will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Data for sending marketing communications: the purpose of data processing is to send marketing communications or newsletters, for which identification details are requested. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject. The data will be deleted as soon as the processing is terminated, i.e. as soon as the data subject decides to unsubscribe in order not to receive any further communications.

9. Data for answering queries: we will collect the contact details you use to identify yourself when sending us messages, your e-mail address, telephone number or postal address, as well as any other information that you freely decide to provide and which we cannot specify, as we do not know the content of all the possible messages that you may send us. We process this personal data for the purpose of answering your enquiries and to address your personal data protection rights. The legal basis for responding to your messages is your consent and ELIX POLYMERS’ legitimate interest in responding to your enquiries. These data will be deleted within two years.

10. Data in relation to the exercise of rights: the purpose of the processing is to support the exercise of data protection rights. The legal basis is compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. This data will be kept to a minimum and will be retained at all times in compliance with the provisions of current data protection legislation.

Data in relation to the whistleblower channel: the purpose of the processing is to manage complaints received as a result of breaches of the Staff Roles and Obligations document, the Code of Conduct and other internal regulations. The legal basis for the processing of this data is the data controller’s legitimate interest. These data will be kept to a minimum and held for 7 days unless they are to be investigated, in which case they will be kept for the duration of the investigation, the corresponding legal proceedings or the period of limitation of any actions that may be brought.
