Improved chemical resistance

Description

At ELIX Polymers, we perform Environmental Stress Cracking (ESC) tests according to ISO 22088-3. We evaluate our ABS, ABS/PC and PC/ABS materials in contact with different chemical compounds, applying constant stress and watching out for the possible emergence of cracks. If we don’t detect visual faults, we carry out additional mechanical tests to ensure chemical compatibility between the material and the compound present in the customer’s application.
