Our training plan adapts to the needs of different job positions in terms of skills and professional development. We also encourage the adoption of healthy habits. Both of these concepts are basic pillars of our people management strategy.

VIRGIN PULSE GLOBAL CHALLENGE

Feel Good is our strategy as a healthy company, designed in 2019. Included in this strategy was our participation in the programme Virgin Pulse Global Challenge, an international challenge with thousands of participants throughout the world. The challenge invited participants to embark on a virtual journey with the aim of promoting habits that create well-being among collaborators and those in their immediate environment, such as physical activity, a healthy diet, stress management and sleep quality.

Professional growth

Within the framework of our performance evaluation project initiated last year, we have expanded our vision to encourage more effective interpersonal communication, especially between employees and managers.

Training hours for improvements in personal skills have increased by 70% compared to 2018

In 2019, as part of our talent management strategy, we continued working on competency-centred growth, both for technical areas as well as personal skills based areas. In this sense, the base of our team's professional growth consists of sharing results, agreeing on action plans and reviewing established objectives.

Once the necessary competencies for different roles within the company are identified, we draw up an individual development plan of mutual agreement between collaborator and manager, defining actions to check that the plan agreed on is being followed, based on a culture of continuous feedback.

Social Benefits

Each and every member of our staff operates under the General State Agreement for the Chemical Industry and is included in the improvements of the ELIX Polymers Complementary Agreement. In 2018, negotiations were made with works council representatives for the revision and improvement of the Second ELIX Polymers Complementary Agreement, which went into effect in 2019.
