ELIX Polymers has received an award for Creation Employment granted by FEIQUE

Last December, the Spanish Chemical Industry Federation (FEIQUE), in cooperation with the Chemistry and Society Forum, has awarded ELIX Polymers with the prize of “Creation Employment", within the framework of the first edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Chemical Sector Awards.

This award recognizes the corporate commitment of ELIX, with the creation of new job opportunities during the last year. Another 17 companies of the sector have been awarded as well, in order to recognize the efforts of the chemical companies engaged with the Responsible Care Program in the CSR area and to promote that this industry is a reference for the management and promotion of the Corporate Social Responsibility in Spain.

The awards ceremony took place at the CEOE headquarter (Madrid) and gathered important executives of the winning companies. Noelia Vazquez, HR Manager, and Judith Banus, SHE & CSR responsible attended the venue representing ELIX Polymers.

“IT is a great pride to be recognized for our commitment with the creation of jobs in the sector. Our main value as a company is our human capital, and to be able to give job opportunities to the communities around us, strengthens us and makes us proud of it”, affirmed Noelia from ELIX Polymers, company attached to the Responsible Care Program since 2000.

FEIQUE is the Spanish Chemical Industry Federation that represents the interests of the chemical industry with more than 150 executive and advisory bodies of the Public Administration and private organizations. Its mission is to promote the expansion and the competitive development of an innovative chemical industry that contributes to the generation of wealth, jobs and products that improve the welfare and the quality of citizen’s life, according with the principles of Sustainable Development.
