ELIX Polymers strengthen Senior Management Team with new Business Director

Carlos Mueller, a professional with more than 20 years of experience in petrochemical and plastics markets, joined the management team as Business Director of ELIX Polymers, effective from April 13th.
Carlos earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked in various technical and commercial positions since his start at BASF. In recent years he worked as Vice President for LyondellBasell in the EMEA and Asia region with responsibility for commodity and also specialty polyolefins.

At this stage of the company's growth, he is taking over this role to manage the global business at ELIX Polymers, a leading producer of ABS and Styrenic specialties since 1975.

"Carlos has long experience in a global market environment with fast changing market conditions. With his complementary knowhow he will be a valuable member of our senior management team to drive the global growth strategy of ELIX Polymers”, says Wolfgang Doering, CEO of the company.
