ELIX Polymers presents SCHMIDT IBERICA with 2016 Supplier of the Year Award
In order to recognise the cooperation of its suppliers in fulfilling customer service goals, particularly with regard to designing tailored solutions for key customers, ELIX Polymers has decided to award SCHMIDT Ibérica with the title of 2016 Supplier of the Year.
On 25 January, the ELIX Polymers facilities were visited by Michael Euler, Director of SCHMIDT Ibérica, together with Sigfried Ott, Marketing and Sales Director, and Stephanie Lemmel, Head of the Intermodal Traffic Department, who were greeted by Narcís Vidal, Supply Chain Director, and Jose Luis de la Cruz, Export/Transport Manager at ELIX.
During the visit, they were presented with the OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE award, to acknowledge the fact that they are a supplier who has made all their company’s potential and resources available to ELIX, providing added value to the entire ELIX value chain and creating solutions that respond to the specific needs of this manufacturer of ABS and derivative products.
“SCHMIDT is an example of a supplier who clearly understands ELIX’s goals and challenges, and has adapted its daily operations to our requirements. It has been involved in proposing proactive solutions to our challenges and those of our customers, while always demonstrating a great collaborative spirit and desire to achieve”, explained Narcís Vidal.
Michael Euler from SCHMIDT added: “It is a great honour for SCHMIDT Ibérica to be presented with the Outstanding Performance Award, and we are especially flattered to be recognised with this distinction in the very first year it has been awarded. We are delighted to have been chosen as the 2016 supplier, as we are well aware of the criteria on which such a recognition is based”.
