ELIX Polymers joins the fight against Primary Immunodeficiencies with a donation to the BCN PID Foundation
As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and with the aim of contributing to the social well-being of people, ELIX Polymers, world leader in manufacturing thermoplastics, has made a donation of 500 euros to the BCN PID Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life of people suffering primary immunodeficiencies.
This action is part of an internal competition that fosters the spirit of solidarity of the ELIX Polymers team. The winner has the chance to choose a non-profit organisation they wish to make a donation to, turning their commitment into an action with a positive impact on society.
This time, the winner, Juan Jesus Heredia, Plant Operator at ELIX Polymers, chose the BCN PID Foundation, recognising their valuable work in the area of research, diagnosis and support for affected patients and families.
“On behalf of the entire BCN PID Foundation team, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generosity and social awareness. It’s not common to come across companies with such a firm and genuine commitment”, commented Sandra Estiarte, Coordinator of BCN PID Foundation.
“We are excited and proud to see how our initiatives can be transformed into specific actions that have a positive impact on the community. This contribution represents the spirit of solidarity and commitment that defines us as a team”, stated Noelia Vázquez, People & Culture and Communication Director at ELIX Polymers.
