Our ELIX ABS products are known for their excellent high gloss surface finish, widely used in sectors such as household appliances, consumer goods, electrical and electronic equipment, and toys. However, in the automotive industry, OEMs require a lower gloss level for unpainted interior applications. Although it is possible to adjust gloss by modifying mould roughness or injection conditions, over time these variables can change and affect the uniformity of the finish. That’s why we’ve developed a new package that reduces the gloss of moulded parts, achieving a uniform, high-quality appearance that consistently meets OEM requirements in the long term.
